This photo demonstrates balance. The hipster on the left alalows the picture to be more balanced, when one hipster could have been a clever use of spacing, adding both rounds the picture out.

This photograph shows the concept of dominance. The pipe greatly dwarfs the worker and occupies most of the frame, despite his slightly intimidating demeanor.

This photo demonstrates cropping. The photo likely encompassed a larger area, but by cropping it so that the wall is slightly to the right, it gives the left side a vast feel, while the right feels constrained.
